We seek an energetic, professional, native English speaking intern to support us, to promote the bcc´s spaces and
services, and to organise different events such as meetings, conventions, conferences, and presentations.

Job description:

  • General support of bcc´s Project Managers and the internal departments of Technical Services and Catering Services
  • Project assistance for planning and preparing international conventions and conferences
  • Logistics: working with organisers, delegates, and internal staff during events
  • International correspondence
  • Customer relationship management: identifying, researching backgrounds of potential clients and events

Profile and qualifications:

  • Native English speaker with the ability to understand and speak German on a basic level
  • Preferred student of business administration, event management or tourism
  • Previous event management experience
  • Entrepreneurial skills and strong drive
  • Initiative and the ability to work autonomously, communicative
  • Strong interest in event management and entrepreneurship at a very high quality level
  • Interest in working in a German company

Key learning targets

  • Gain extensive event and project management experience by working on high profile events
  • Gain valuable soft skills incl. business negotiations, intercultural communications, time management
  • Intercultural experience by living and learning in Berlin, Germany
  • Work in a modern and private medium-sized enterprise and in a young and dynamic team

Internship period 8 months minimum. Representation allowance will be paid.
